Support Topics
Fit, care, and ordering help in one place.
If something is stopping you from ordering, there is a good chance the answer is below.
General
Who Spriing is best suited to
Who can wear Spriing?
Spriing is best suited to adults, and younger people in adult shoe sizes, who want extra support and have low to medium arches. It is designed for everyday comfort rather than aggressive correction.
How is Spriing different from generic arch supports?
The system uses a flexible polypropylene shell, replaceable covers, and a slimmer profile that is designed to feel easier inside everyday shoes than bulky foam inserts.
How is Spriing different from custom orthotics?
Spriing is an everyday support option. Custom orthotics are prescribed for individual needs, so if you need something highly specific, podiatry advice is the better place to start.
Do you make a high-arch version?
Not at this stage. The current range is built around low to medium arches. If you have very high arches or more extreme foot mechanics, podiatry advice is the safer starting point.
Size + Fit
Choosing the right fit and shoe setup
I am between sizes. Which size should I choose?
If you are a half size or move between two sizes, go down to the smaller Spriing size. The shell length relates to arch position, so smaller is the better default if you are in between.
Can Spriing work across different shoe types?
Yes. The kit’s short covers are designed for everyday shoes and can also work in sneakers with the factory liner. Long covers suit roomier shoes, boots, or shoes where the original liner is removed.
Can I wear Spriing in open shoes?
Often yes, especially in correctly fitted open shoes with enough structure and straps to hold the foot well. Very high heels, thongs, and minimal-strap styles are less likely to work well.
Can I wear Spriing with other insoles or orthotics?
No. Spriing should be worn on its own, or with a flat factory liner where appropriate. It should not be layered with shaped insoles, other arch supports, or other orthotics.
Can I cut Spriing down to size?
No. Spriing should not be cut. The shells and covers are designed to work as sized pieces, so choosing the right size from the start is the important step.
Use + Care
Getting set up and keeping them in good condition
How do I place Spriing in my shoes?
Attach the fluffy velcro dots to the rough dots under the shell, line the shell up at the heel of the shoe, then press down firmly to transfer the dots into place. There is no trimming required.
What if the velcro dots do not transfer properly?
Press firmly over the dots, or stand on the supports in the shoe to help the transfer. If needed, you can place the dots by hand as long as they line up carefully with the shell dots.
Can I wash the covers?
Yes, gently by hand. Use mild soapy water, rinse lightly, and air dry flat. Machine washing, bleach, sanitiser, and harsh chemicals should all be avoided.
How often should I replace them?
The covers usually wear out before the shells. Replace covers when they start looking tired, and check the shells for wear after around 12 months.
Can I wear Spriing without socks?
Yes, although clean, dry feet and clean shoes will help keep the product fresher for longer. Good shoe hygiene matters just as much as cleaning the covers.
